HREC has been recognized for our work in the community with many awards, including the prestigious Alliance for Unity Award in 2005 and The 2007 Award from The Utah Commission for Women and Families.”
Thank you to Carla for being apart of such an amazing and important project.
One of our speakers during the release was Dr. Forrest Crawford. Dr. Forrest C. Crawford has actively worked in the community for over four decades teaching, training, mentoring and enabling thousands of others to find their voice in participatory democracy.
He is noted for weaving into his community activism, lectures and formal education from Weber State University (B.S.), University of Utah (MSW) and Brigham Young University (Ed.D), a rich tapestry of peace-building that stretches far beyond U.S. borderlands, helping to supplant the virtue of personal dignity and justice as a fundamental tenant of our diverse humanity (informed by the UN Declaration of Human Rights).

Lilli Martin understand that forgiveness is extremely important in today’s society. On her organization’s website, it reads:
“Have you made a mistake while driving ? Wished that your coworkers could just know you want to move forward? Wished to send that perfect card without having to spell it all out? Are you ready to let someone else off the hook while driving before road rage erupts?”
Thank you Lilli for being a part of our film release. You are doing amazing things with your organization. If you would like to show your support for the power of forgiveness, check our Lilli’s website at: Signs of Forgiveness.
Spread the word with a Internationally Inspired Forgiveness “Global Oval” decal, or a ‘Be the Force’ with our “Classic Forgive” decal for your vehicle.
We would also like to thank our emcee for the evening, Darroll Young. His energetic and positive spirit led the speakers and the focus of the evening. Darroll says, “Courage to be. Power to change.” This is well said by a corporate and youth national speaker.
Contact Darroll if you are interested in a powerful, life changing speaker for your next event.
Most importantly, thanks to all the attendees and the donations to The Forgiveness Project, a U.K. based charity that uses storytelling to explore how ideas around forgiveness, reconciliation and conflict resolution can be used to impact positively on people’s lives, through the personal testimonies of both victims and perpetrators of crime and violence. With your help, we raised $330 dollars for their organization.
